Hey Everyone,
This is my first blog so be understanding. Will try to add a post each day on the trip. The trip begins September 4th & ends on the 25th. I hope to be able to share lots of photos along the way and during the Targa. For those who don't know, a Targa is a indurance race on public roads. That part is very similar to The Tour de France. But, then you add SPEED! Targa Newfoundland takes place over 5 days and approximately 1200 miles. I'll be volunteering as a course worker, a safety officer or first responder, I guess. I plan to work at least four of the five days and will be staying in different towns every 2 days. The race is from the 13th to the 18th. Weather may become a big factor (remember Storm "Bill" ?). ReplyDeleteHey Jett- Sounds like the trip is good. I particularly enjoyed your comment about driving with French signs and comparing it to driving in New York. I hope you have good weather for the next while. Kit and I enjoyed New York and came back home on Friday.
